Promoting the Art of Jazz by preserving a musical culture, tradition, art form ... keeping jazz alive!

WHO WE ARE

Jazz Matters Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to recognizing the cultural and artistic significance of jazz music. Jazz, which is widely regarded as the only truly original American art form, was pioneered by African Americans and has become a national treasure. At Jazz Matters, we firmly believe in the importance of jazz music and our goal is to celebrate and promote it through our work. As a 501(c)(3) organization, we aim to support the continued growth and preservation of this invaluable art form.

Upcoming Jazz Matters Events

Edwin and I are excited to guest host "Signature Serenade" with Debb Moore, Jazz 91.9 WCLK, on Wednesday, March 26th from 7 PM to 9 PM. This event is a fundraiser for the non-profit station, promising great music, engaging discussions, and an opportunity for us to share some of our favorite jazz artists, as we compete for the title of 'Top Fundraiser.'

As many of you are aware, Edwin is a professional musician and the founder of Jazz Matters, Inc. We encourage all jazz lovers, musicians, family, friends, and any artists who have performed on any Jazz Matters concerts, to show their support.
